Join Cheryl Machat Dorskind IN THE GARDEN
Become a better photographer and celebrate nature during the Andria Garden Photo Workshop. We will focus on all the elements of this special garden: landscape design, flowers, greenery, sun and shade, ponds, bird baths, and other garden accents. The “camera teaches you to see without a camera” (Dorothea Lange); as you learn how to see and capture natural beauty with the eye of your lens, you will also become a better gardener. The workshop experience will leave you refreshed, invigorated and inspired.
Andria Garden Photo Workshop June 30, 2:00-4:30, with Tea and Q&A to follow
Creativity, spirituality and a whimsy love of nature. Specimen trees and plants, a variety of ground covers, and old brick walkways encourage close examination with camera in hand.

WHO SHOULD JOIN
Cheryl welcomes all levels of photographers and all types of cameras (hobbyists to pros; smartphones to digital DSLRs). Participants share the experience working side-by-side, and, while part of a small group, each photographer receives individual attention from Cheryl. Hands-on lessons in camera technique, lens selection, lighting, and composition will be explored. Students will complete the workshop with a greater understanding of how to capture nature and flowers and leave with awesome images, as well as inspiration for future garden plantings.

TESTIMONIALS
Cheryl’s photo workshops are one of the best things I have done. She is an amazing teacher… I have enjoyed two photo workshops and can’t wait for the next time I can join her.”
~Carol Stamaty
If you are anywhere within a decent car, train or bus ride of Westhampton, New York, get in touch with Cheryl Machat Dorskind and join her for one of her photo workshops. Cheryl teaches photography online, mentoring photography students all over the world. She is also a portrait photographer, a master at hand-painting photographs, and a published author.I had a great time and wanted to pitch a tent on the beach, roast marshmallows and fall asleep under the stars. I would go back tomorrow if I could. I would love to do one in the Fall, in the Winter, in the Springtime.”
~Giselle Minoli
A fantastic photographer, herself, an artist, Cheryl is also a terrific teacher. She sees your potential in what you do and makes it fun to spend time with her and experiment with the camera.”
